I do not know about you but I live my life with "one foot on the brake and one on the accelerator." Noah St. John teaches this phenomenon in "Permission To Succeed" book. I did not know I was doing. I often wondered why I was not moving forward. I knew I a lot of talent, education, public speaking, network capacity and right things, but sometimes I'd go ahead and other Once I'd still be standing. My life has become a combination of a whitewater rafting adventure and a whiffle ball being pushed by the wind.

All this can be quite scary. If you are not accustomed to taking risks, we will never get off the bench field. The coach has nothing to do with it! Surprised? Coaches are needed to define the structure, orientation, support, knowledge and training, however, if you're not willing to actively participate, it will never happen. You'll just be watching everyone's achievement and the applause for them.
I'm tired of applause for everyone. I love the applause and cheers people do not get me wrong, but I'd still this hollow feeling in my chest when on one occasion or another taken a day or a week passed and I had not take action or reach my goals. I was back in the same place before. None of morale on the wall, maps objective statements or certificates made no difference. Everything felt very badly especially when I told my youth to use their talents and "create" their world.
I did not and they are.
The trick is to not think of anything else when the opportunity presents itself and act on it! So you literally one second to do so. In fact, you do not have the inner voice that pulls you back a chance at the surface (or speak). It's like the teacher said, "Who wants that extra ice cream?" And your hand automatically goes up without hesitation.
Start to watch where you fall short. Watch your life, decisions and actions. You'll get lots of information about yourself. Then, when something arrives, decide and act accordingly. Do not think about it.
So get ready to go ahead and raise their hands for ice cream!
