The reality is that different people hold fat in different areas and you don't get to choose where you burn off the flab. If your main goal is to reduce thighs then your best option is to go for toning, but that doesn't have to mean hours of sweat at the gym. The easiest way is to incorporate some simple toning on the go.
Tooth brushing to tone your legs. No, I haven't gone completely mad. What do you do while brushing your teeth? Nothing? It's the perfect time to do some squats. 2 minutes of squats twice a day and you will soon see your thighs becoming toned. And you'll get a great smile!
Tone while you sit. There is lots of leg toning that can be done during those hours of sitting at your desk, on the bus or in front of the TV
Squeeze your thighs and butt so that you lift up and down on the chair. Who cares if it looks a bit weird? Just think how good those legs are going to look when you hit the beach.
Waiting for the computer to boot up? Try sitting to one side of your seat let your knee point to the floor then lift your foot up behind you toward the ceiling. Don't forget to do both sides - you don't want uneven thighs.
Sit on the front edge of your chair when watching TV. Lift your knees towards your chest, lower and repeat. You'll be toning your thighs and buttocks and giving your belly a work out at the same time.
Increase your daily steps You don't need to go out of your way to increase the steps you take each day. Always do at least a couple of flights of stairs before you consider an elevator. Once you get good taking the stairs two at a time will really work those thigh muscles.
Walking up a hill is also great for toning.
Bouncing isn't just for Tigger. Get yourself a mini trampoline and bounce. You will work out your thighs, calves and give yourself an aerobic boost. It's also great fun and is known to help with stress.
OK so getting great thighs will need some effort, but use some of these tips and you will be well on the way to great looking legs and you will have some fun on the way. The great thing is it is easy to fit your toning into your everyday life without making great sacrifices.
